The STRATUS GC-1 Base operates on the fundamental principle of measuring the response time to molecules of various gases as they pass from the capillary column to the electrochemical sensor. Designed as a standalone solution, the STRATUS GC-1 Base allows for the flexibility of adding a modem separately. This unique feature enables the modem to be located in a different space from the main device, providing the advantage of establishing a stable network connection.

Customizable continuous monitoring is at the core of the STRATUS GC-1 Base's capabilities. This monitoring mode is programmed into the device's controller, offering adaptability to your specific requirements. Particularly valuable in industrial and agricultural settings, continuous monitoring ensures worker safety and inhabitable area well-being by precisely tracking volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This approach allows for timely responses to fluctuations in air quality, bolstering industrial and agricultural processes' safety and efficiency.

The system can be configured to connect up to 16 channels through a router, a convenient add-on option from ATHERO. This heightened connectivity empowers in-depth data exploration and analysis, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of the air quality in the surrounding environment.

In contrast to its predecessor, the STRATUS GC-1 Base does not feature an integrated modem. Instead, it empowers users to equip the device with a separate modem, enabling remote accessibility. This novel approach ensures constant online availability, permitting operators to remotely access the device and retrieve data in real time. This remote connection enhances communication between the device and operators, enabling timely responses to sensor-detected changes. With this advanced capability, the STRATUS GC-1 Base stands as an efficient and user-centric solution for gas detection and air quality monitoring.
